Reflecting our total commitment to our communities, Newtown Savings Bank and the Newtown Savings Bank Foundation provide financial support to over 180 community organizations. Most of the organizations already have a Newtown Savings Bank employee or trustee as a volunteer. Employees were recognized by the Volunteer Center of Danbury for volunteering over 12,000 hours in 2008. The Bank’s new NSBCARE program, introduced in February 2009, has set a high goal of 100% employee volunteerism. Volunteer opportunities have been or will be established in each of our branch towns to facilitate attaining this lofty goal. By exposing employees to different types of volunteer opportunities, we hope to inspire them to find a cause that they are passionate about to continue to support going foward.

| Online Banking Tip |
|
Using NSB Online, you can change the names of your accounts to make it easier to identify each of your accounts at Newtown Savings Bank. As you add accounts, we assign fairly generic names such as “Prime 0001”. You might want your own name for each account. Next time you log into NSB Online, just pick the tab, Account Options, then below it, Accounts. You’ll then be able to change your account names to almost anything you want.
