NSBCare began in 2009 with a multi-year goal of 100% employee involvement in community service activities. We are proud to report that we hit the 100% involvement goal in 2009. In 2010 we continue to be involved in community based programs throughout our market area. Our employees have participated in helping our community’s elderly, its youth and its hungry. Most of our NSBCare volunteerism takes place in one of the Connecticut communities with or near a Newtown Savings branch office. These communities are Bethel, Brookfield, Danbury, Monroe, Newtown, Oxford, Shelton, Southbury, Trumbull, and Woodbury.
