NSBCare

NSBCare began in 2009 with a multi-year goal of 100% employee involvement in community service activities. We are proud to report that our employees have performed over 17,000 hours of community service over the past two years. Today we continue to be involved in community based programs throughout our market area. Our employees have participated in helping our community’s elderly, its youth and its hungry. Information about some of our larger participations is available on our In The News page.

Newtown Savings Bank Gives Back with Suite Deal
Donates Corporate Suite to Community Groups Who Give Back Everyday

Newtown Savings Bank is donating the use of its corporate suite at the Arena at Harbor Yard to local community groups for select upcoming events. As a strong community supporter, the NSBCare program is giving back to the area’s community organizations to thank them for the services they provide in support of the community at large. Non-profit service organizations serving at least one of the Bank’s NSBCare communities are eligible to submit an entry via www.NSBgivesBack.org.

There will be several events to choose from based on availability including Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Sacred Heart University Men’s Hockey, Disney on Ice, and Monster Truck Jam.

The winning organizations will receive tickets for up to 14 people and are encouraged to invite staff members, volunteers, group members or partners as a way to show their own appreciation for the dedication within their community. For more information or to submit an entry, please visit NSBgivesBack.org. Newtown Savings Bank will accept entries until all available event dates are filled.
